Hey, Janco here. I shot weddings for years and kept a list of shooting locations the whole time. First a page on my course site, before that a spreadsheet, same as every photographer I know. The problem with lists like that is they die. Venues close, fees change, and one person can never keep up.

ShootWorthy is that list, rebuilt properly. Every spot shows who added it, what access costs, whether you need a permit, and when the light is best. Photographers who shoot a spot confirm it, upvote it and leave tips for the next person. That is how the data stays alive.

Adding a spot takes about four minutes and your name goes on it permanently. The photographers who help build this map early will be the first names couples and matric parents see when they search for shoot locations in their town.
